What Our Speech Therapists Do

Our speech therapists are experts in helping children overcome challenges with speech and language. They assess each child’s strengths and needs, create personalized therapy plans, and use fun, interactive activities to help children reach their goals. They also guide parents with strategies to support communication at home, making therapy a team effort.

Step 1:

Speech & Language Evaluation

  1. Parent/Caregiver Interview: We begin by learning about your child’s communication, development, and daily interactions.

  2. Standardized & Play-Based Assessment: Using age-appropriate tests and observations, we evaluate speech sound production, language skills, social communication, fluency, and oral-motor abilities.

  3. Observation & Interaction: Especially for younger children, we watch how they communicate during play and conversation in natural settings.

  4. Results & Plan: You receive a detailed report with clear recommendations and a personalized therapy plan tailored to your child.

Step 2:

Individual Speech Therapy

  1. Set Goals: Each session targets your child’s specific speech and language needs.

  2. Engaging Activities: Our therapists use games, interactive exercises, and conversation to practice skills.

  3. Feedback & Adjustments: Progress is monitored continuously, and therapy is adapted to your child’s pace.

  4. Family Involvement: Parents are guided on activities to reinforce skills at home between sessions.
